Principal Accountabilities:

In the framework of his / her employment as Business Development / Int’l Licensing Manager of Midas Shanghai the Employee will:

• Manage the ongoing in-/ out- licensing projects by supporting activities throughout different development phases in the view to lead them successfully to the commercial scale;
• Actively participate in "intra-cooperation" with the Director Country Management and International Licensing Division of the Headquarters and/ or the Affiliates by supporting product screening, market evaluation, and commercial & regulatory feasibility studies in order to identify appropriate in-licensing partners/ products;
• Custom relationship management of Company’s existing Chinese customers as well as identify/ build-up relationship with new potential Chinese customers (esp. in the CHC sector) so as to establish new in-licensing businesses;
• Evaluate the market to recommend the most reliable and regulatory-suitable Chinese manufacturing/ out-licensing partners and the most profitable products to the Company and/ or the Affiliates in accordance with the Company’s strategies;
• Regularly/ proactively report to the Company of any market, industry, and regulatory updates in the Chinese Pharma sector;
• Provide any support to the Business Development Team in the view to achieve the collective targets set up by the Company.

Skills and Competences:

• Chemist or pharmacist graduation preferred;
• Familiar with the Pharmaceutical industry preferably with 4-5 years of experience in the Business Development or International Licensing positions;
• Self-motivated for personal achievements;
• Strong analytical skills and trouble-shooting competence;
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills;
• Strong team-working spirit;
• English fluency (both written and oral)
