Job Opening: Senior Software Engineer (JAVA)
The Senior Software Engineer (JAVA) will work with a geographically dispersed software development team to develop exciting new analytic products.
He/She will:
Develop web services, ETL code and related tasks using Java, J2EE and applicable frameworks.
Mentor junior engineers.
Enforce best practices in software development
Qualifications:
High proficiency in Java/J2EE, SOAP/REST WebServices, Spring, Hibernate, JSON, MySQL, Unix/Linux,
Proficient in writing SQL queries
Good knowledge on build tools preferably Maven/Ant
Experience with database, Hadoop and ETL highly desirable.
Broad knowledge of relational OO and database design Familiarity with web-based product development
Have excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, team handling and client interfacing skills
Strong English written, verbal, and comprehension skills required
Exposure to Agile development methodology
