职位描述
Overall purpose of role :
The role leads the Merchant Lifecycle Management Marketing team within marketing organization, to support PayPal China marketing initiatives. The overall purpose is to:
1. Develop merchant lifecycle management strategy for PayPal China to grow PayPal's brand preference, usage and market share, and allocate resources accordingly to benefit merchants' business growth;
2. Instruct/manage the team to develop and enhance merchant relationship with best practices benchmarks (internally and externally), and more KPI driven campaigns to uplift merchant overall lifetime value;
3. Due to the quickly changing environment of China Market & competitions, this particular role is required to be extremely agile and adept at changes, hence the candidate needs to be mentally capable and ready to manage changes.
1. Strategy & Planning
- Drive the merchant lifecycle management marketing strategy for PayPal China with a more systematic approach to engage and build loyalty with merchants
- Responsible for driving incremental revenue target based on strategy and activities
- Develop and execute quarterly & monthly marketing plans for lifecycle marketing
- Work in conjunction with regional / global teams and local cross-function teams to develop actionable strategic initiatives and share best practice, e.g. segmentation model and activation/reactivation strategy
- Manage marketing budget and agencies, prioritising for greatest returns
- Track and measure impact of activities to show ROI
2. Brand Understanding & Preference
- Synthesise the key drivers of merchant brand preference
- Create compelling marketing campaigns to deliver an increase in preference
- Find key areas of opportunity on and off the PayPal website to increase understanding of the brand
- Build models to link brand preference to revenue gains
- Leverage market research and analysis to prioritise activities
- Work with PR colleagues to ensure consistent message across all channels
3 . Product Marketing
- Continual enhancement of the PayPal site, messaging and on boarding to lifetime experience to drive improvements in activation rates and active rates.
- Proposition development of ancillary products - research customer needs and build compelling propositions (either directly or by influence product development teams).
- Manage campaigns to drive product adoption to targeted audiences, specifically on financial products such as PayPal Credit
- Work with third parties to ensure core PayPal brand is being delivered
4 . General Management
- Develop, direct and manage team, and lay plans for continued growth of team
- Key member of Marketing Management team
- Acting as China lead or representative on high profile global strategic merchant marketing projects
- Assisting with management of wider marketing team including recruitment and people development
- Managing relationships with external agencies and internal teams
