As a valued member of the team at eBay that develops Traffic Data Platform, you will make important contributions. Build traffic data platform to provide unified data source for whole traffic team to help eBay Paid Search to maximize the Return over Investment, define good evaluation metrics to understand better of marketing results on major search engines, We are looking for highly motivated and top-notch software engineers. • Build traffic data platform which will be on top of various data sources
• Implement proof-of-concept prototypes for data collection, analysis, and presentation.
• Technical lead for new and existing product initiatives, assist with definition of product direction
• Define, design, troubleshoot, and debug complex, multi-tier distributed software applications on eBay platform.
• Work with manager, engineers, product management, QA and Operation team to design and implement application features.
• Estimate engineering effort, plan execution cycles, and rollout system changes.

Ø Implement proof-of-concept prototypes for data collection, analysis, and presentation.
Ø Define, design, troubleshoot, and debug complex, multi-tier distributed software applications on eBay platform.
Ø Work with manager, engineers, product management and Operation team to design and implement application features.
Ø Design and develop next generation QE initiative. Responsible for the oversight and development of broad testing framework / unit, functional and integration testing for traffic data platform.
Ø Estimate testing efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and help rollout projects. Help define, and supervise the testing of complex, multi-tier distributed software systems and impacted domains that provide value-add from site quality perspective.
Ø Develop test plans, test cases & test tools, and work with the development and other QE teams to ensure standard QE processes are followed including usage of Test Case management systems.
Ø Implement low level test strategies targeted at: Application and Component Frameworks, Presentation Infrastructure, Database Access Layer, Services Infrastructureincluding SOAP, Caching Systems, Common Rules Engine Services, Logging, Static and Dynamic Configuration Services and various Deployment Models.
Ø Identify process, technology challenges and deficiencies that need to be addressed and drive those changes to successful adoption.
