Responsibilities:

• To support the business of merchandise divisions by providing business analysis and recommendations
• Conduct sales and margin analysis by category
• Analyze business opportunities to buying team of particular division
• Prepare “ Vendor performance analysis” for merchandise team

Daily Work:

• Analyzing sales figures of the responsible product groups
• Perform variance analysis of actual with last year and budgeted figures and investigate sources of differences on a weekly, monthly, and annually basis
• Think about the components that impact sales gap analysis
• Review and discuss with supervisors before deliver “Sales gap analysis” to trade planning members
• Perform detailed analysis of margins, broken down as front and back margin analysis
• Analyze vendor information, especially major vendors of each department together with their SKUs performance ( purchase, sales, received margin, front margin and allowances, these information will be useful for quarter business review and vendor management plan

Requirement:

• Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
• Working Experience: 5+ years of relevant finance experience; 3 years in Retail business would be advantage
• Knowledge: Possess strong theoretical and logical thinking in business cycle
• Skill: Ability to think creatively and strategically. Advance Microsoft excel skill
• Language: Excellent command of English (reading, speaking, writing)
• Others: Teamwork, Hard Working, Analytical Mindset
