Tasks Description

Position: Major Tasks

- Provide in-depth support independently to responsible CAD/CAE
engineering software tools
- Manage responsible engineering IT projects
- Monitor the project IT environment, care about IT performance and
data security and, subsequently coordinate the set up of IT concepts
- Train the lower level engineer to get familiar with engineering
software tools
- Major knowledge-sharing contributor within the team
- Participate in and support global initiatives and projects; ensure
active input from a regional perspective.
- Ensure compliance (quality management, IT Security, License
Management, etc.) of responsible engineering IT related processes
- Manage external engineering IT providers for local services and own
related contracts (SLA’s).

- Relevant University Degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering IT experience.
- Have solid experience in engineering disciplines in chemistry /
petrochemical / polymer industry.
- Have solid leading experience in engineering application
implementation and support in projects
- Rich experience in at least two of the major Intergraph engineering
applications ( e.g Smart Plant Foundation, SmartPlant 3D, PDS,
SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant Material, SmartPlant P&ID, etc.)
is a must. Experience in Oracle database, Citrix is an advantage
- Good project management and consulting skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good problem solving, analytical and supervisory skills
- Customer-oriented, have proactive attitude and can work independently in a teamwork environment.
