Project Management Responsibilities:

? Project management of projects ranging from $50,000 to $2,000,000
? Coordinating and leading project team in planning, developing, and implementing projects; including meetings, setting priorities, evaluating comments/requests and ensuring internal customer approval
? Ensuring the proper balance between cost, schedule and quality of the finished project
? Scope development, estimating, scheduling and project request development
? Cost control and reporting, including change management
? Acting as the sole point of contact for communication with engineering consulting firms
? Preparing or coordinating the preparation of construction bid packages, evaluating bid proposals and selection of contractors
? Experience with SAP Project Module and other basic SAP transactions desirable
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent people skills - ability to successfully work with all plant personnel
? In-depth knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD

Design Responsibilities:
? Construction package design, including equipment location plans, plot plans, piping design and equipment design
? Developing and writing applicable equipment specifications
? Plant technical support, including API tank and ASME vessel design, piping stress design, equipment layout, and structural and machine design improvements
? Research and interpret regulatory and design codes
? Experience with vessel and pipe stress design software desirable
? Familiar with exotic materials of construction, such as titanium, tantalum, glass-lined equipment, thermoplastics and FRP
? Liaison with vendors, contractor engineers and maintenance

Essential Qualifications:

? BS Engineering - Mechanical or Civil
? Minimum 10 years in chemical / petro-chemical project engineering
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills
