MAGNETIC COMPONENT DESIGN ENGINEER

Standex Electronics is looking for a customer focused, motivated, and versatile Magnetic Component Design Engineer to join the existing team in Songjiang District, Shanghai, China. A B.S. degreee holder in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Standex Electronics is a growing worldwide company with facilities in Cincinnati, Oakville ON, Agua Prieta Mexico, Kent UK, Shanghai and Tianjin China. Standex primarily designs and manufactures custom magnetic components for the military, industrial, and medical markets. In addition to magnetic products, Standex produces magnetic reed switches, sensors, antennas, and connector products in its various facilities.

Applicable products types include, but are not limited to the following

? Single and Three Phase Power Transformers
- 60 to 400Hz, Laminated, Toroidal, etc. up to 5kVA
? Reactors And Chokes
- Multiple Configurations
? Current Sense Transformers
- Broad size and accuracy range
? High Frequency Transformers
- kHz to 50MHz
- up to 30kVA
? Specialty Transformers and Inductors
- Planars - Scott-T’s - Custom Mechanical Packaging,
- Value Added Assemblies - High Voltage
- High Accuracy Instrumentation Grade

Applicable specifications include:
? UL, CSA, IEC, TUV, VDE, and MIL STD Specifications

The primary responsibilities of the Magnetic Component Design Engineer will include:

? Product Design and Development
? Customer Interface
? Oversight of Prototyping, Testing, and Process Development
? Assistance with Quoting New Business Opportunities
? Sustaining Engineering and Problem Solving
