Company:
Our client is a leading global logistics and transportation group, with a history of more than 125 years.
The Senior Operations Manager will be based in the warehouse (about 30,000 m2) in Kunshan.
Responsibilities:
- To be overall responsible for the daily operation of the garments distribution center.
- To properly manage a warehouse operation team of about 160 staff and supervise the teamleaders to ensure the routine operations are perfectly executed. To keep the team working efficiently and stable.
- To follow up on the standardized working process of the customers.
- Work closely with the solution center to provide the proper improvement suggestions.
- Coordinate the operation together with the client.
- Meet the financial KPIs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years experience in a 3PL, with minimum 5 years of management experience in warehouse operations.
- BSc degree or above, with fluent English spoken and written skills.
- Familiar with the warehouse operations system (WMS) and MS Office (Excel / Word / PPT).
- Good communication. team management skills, good interpersonal skills, planning skills, presentation skills, strong problem-solving skills and team-spirit.
- Process oriented, focused on continuous improvement.
