Senior Design Engineer/Design Manager高级设计工程师/设计经理

Report to: Product Manager

Responsibilities:

- Support Product Manager/General Manager in developing and maintaining short and long term strategy and plans (i.e. modifications/upgrades/cost down) for engines in area of responsibility

- Product improvement (issue/problem based) executed according to targets

- Technical responsibility of Change Management/Non-standard request approvals

- Product information and documentation continuously maintained over the product life cycle

- Ensure that product and engineering related support provided timely and homogenously to manufacturing

- Ensure “world class” design quality securing on time deliveries and cost effectiveness.

- Plan, co-ordinate, lead and follow-up the assigned team of engineer resources (BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL) to deliver the engineering design activities

- Coordinate communication towards R&D related to expert support needs

Requirements

- Minimum BCs in engineering (Marine or Mechanical) or equivalent working experience

- Minimum 8 years work experience

- Good English communications skill

- Working experience within foreign companies and/or overseas projects would be an added advantage.
