Key Competencies:

· Experience in mechanical related design.
· Experience in steering column, stamping parts or precision transmission organ (gear / worm and worm gear) design is a plus
· Excellent proficiency in reading and creating mechanical drawings. Good understanding/utilization of geometric tolerances in drawing.
· Strong ability of mechanical system failure analysis, trouble shooting and problem solving.
· Knowledge of quality systems in automotive industry is a plus.
· Good oral and written English, proficiency is preferred.
· Good inter-personal, communication skills
· Good learning attitude, self-discipline, pro-active, highly committed and able to work with tight deadline and under high pressure.
· Willing to travel (domestic and international).


Education and Experience:
. Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.


. Experience: 3 or more years of experience in design and manufacturing of mechanical parts systems/components. Experience in automotive industry, injection parts, casting parts design is a plus.

Major Responsibilities:

· Communicate with customer to understand customer requirements, effectively present to customer TRW capabilities and solutions.
· Communicate with TRW core engineering centers to facilitate detailed design and drawing creation.
· Create 3D model and 2D DWG by Catia v5 as product design output, conduct design reviews to ensure product design meeting customer requirement and SILA standards.
· Initiate and manage engineering/drawing changes to meet customer needs, improve product design, or reduce cost.
· Initiate and coordinate prototype requisition and responsible for on-time delivery to customers.
· Develop test plans and coordinate tests in product development.
· Support SQE in supplier development and localization for new and existing products.

Automotive Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Mechanical Design / Modification using PRO-Engineer, Prototyping, Testing and Validation
- Development and optimization of Mechanical
- Development of design solutions
- Solutions for projects within the scope of specified concepts
- Combination of existing design elements
- Develop solutions under consideration of functional, material, production and economic standpoints
- Time schedule preparation
- Optimization and further development
- Optimization of existing components, elements including reports and specifications
- Create solutions as drafts
- Definition of used material and production process
- Calculations
- Calculating of lifetime, dimensions, weight
- Strength calculation, wear and tear calculation
- Interpretation of the results and adaptation of the design accordingly Selection, Application and Qualification of new components and key suppliers
- Support all Hardware Development activities. Help to define design objectives and priorities in conjunction with the responsible Project Managers
- Participate actively during the concept phase of new projects and monitor technical status of competition
- Provide active technical and organizational assistance
- Develop and implement tools to reduce development lead time and improve performance
- Participate in Testing and Qualification of Automotive Infotainment Systems

OTHER DUTIES:
- Completes other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Development using high level R&D techniques
- Working Knowledge of Automotive industry or other QS9000 compliant work experience
- Good knowledge in injection process, tooling design and manufacturing.
- Familiar in mold injection processes, mold design and manufacturing.
- Excellent command of PRO-Engineer Skill (Surface module, sheet metal module, drawing….)
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent English language skills

Automotive Engineer

Duties and responsibilities:
- Be responsible for all the mechanical technical issues of related machines that arranged by technical manager.
- Localize all the drawings, part list and relating document that company need for production of related machines.
-Mechanical drawings checking, filing and secret keeping, Drawings translating.
- Ensure correction of all technical documents, drawings, part list.
-Assistant to PS. Dept to evaluate the supplier’s technical ability, explain the technical requirement, audit the supplier’s producing process…
-Support Prod. Dept to resolve the technical problems on site
-Make analysis for special acceptance of the urgent parts on technical side.
-Keep close communication and cooperation with global SILA colleagues
- Grasp more ‘Know How’ about the machine and pay continuous attention to competitor’s relating technique
- Be active to suggest to change structure, material, tolerance and so on to improve quality, function, efficiency and reduce cost
- Managing the related drawings
- Be on time to finish working plan.
- Cooperating with other related Dept.
- Make the relating technical regulation and criterion.
- Finish other works assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree of mechanical;
2. More than 3 years experience in Machinery manufacture industry .
3. Familiar with related mechanical design software, SE is preferred;
4. Familiar with machining process for turning, welding structure parts;
5. Good English in both spoken and written.
