Overall Purpose of Role:

1.To provide support to marketing activities covering Greater China market with PR initiatives and management of agencies and media relationships.

2.Analyse the major financial markets on a daily basis in order to write insightful market commentary.

3.Give occasional interviews to the press on the major market stories of the day

4.Help to coordinate education and research opportunities to Alpari clients

Responsibilities:

1.Carry out research on global markets and write market commentary for both internal and external use

2 .Send market commentary to the media for publication from as early as 5.30am

3.Update social media platforms with up to date market commentary

4.Regularly liaise with PR agency

5.a high quality range of market reports that are submitted to both journalists and uploaded on to the Alpari Chinese website and social media portals

6.Periodic narrative to journalists on company, macro or economic announcements

7.Inspiring trading ideas to clients around key economic and company announcements

8. Maintaining and encouraging new relationships with the idea to grow our journalist contact base

9.Providing verbal content to journalists on daily market activity

10.Keeping abreast of all news stories in different asset classes

11.Undertaking periodic market updates on various TV programmes

12. Assisting in the PR process

13.Potential presentations at client seminars
