Title: Asia Sales and Marketing Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Position Summary/Objective:
This position is responsible for the development and performance of all sales, marketing and customer service activities for Anhui Tedia. This goal is achieved by providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company vision and values. The Asia Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities that will be focused on new business sales in strategic markets and industries. The Asia Sales and Marketing Manager will maintain and increase existing revenue within the current client base and distributors while coaching and directing the sales team to create a team focused environment.
Expectations:
A. Develop and oversee sales team to effectively meet all client requirements while at the same time achieve Anhui Tedia’s revenue and profit goals.
B. Provides strategic direction and feedback to the General Manager, the China Country Manager and Anhui Tedia Leadership team based on market research.
C. Contributes to the development of training and educational programs for the sales team with the goal of meeting or exceeding targeted revenue numbers.
D. Maintains contact with all clients and dealers in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
E. Develops and maintains relationships within Tedia to ensure high level of response time for quotes and client problems.
F. Provides workplace management for the sales team.
Qualifications:
Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree from university
Fluent in writing, reading and speaking English
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and sales management, preferably in a technical environment.
Preferred but not required:
1) Solvent/lab chemical sales experience
2) Marketing experience
3) Market research experience
4) Experience with Western companies
Work Skills:
1. Written communication skills – Writing must be concise, organized and clear. Expected to write Proposals, Status updates, etc.
2. Verbal Communication skills - Convey ideas persuasively; either speaking spontaneously or in a prepared presentation
3. Highly skilled with people: supervising, instructing, persuading, mentoring, motivating, communicating, counseling, leading and negotiating
4. Team player that relates and works well with clients and employees
5. Readily adjusts to rapid changes in technology, products and the marketplace
6. Demonstrates business acumen, consultative selling skills, and understands value based selling
7. Basic skills in computer operation
