To bring our China distribution business to the next level we seek for a motivated

Sales Manager

Coating Powders

This keyposition is solely handling the day to day distribution business of Plascoat coating powders in the Greater China Area. As such it combines sales, marketing, business development and technical support functions. It reports directly to the General Manager of Shanghai Billeter Plastics Co., Ltd. and works in close cooperation with the Plascoat organization in Europe as well as our administrative staff in Shanghai.

Principal responsibilities:

- Handle day to day sales activities with existing customers

- Identify and develop new sales opportunities

- Provide technical support (with assistance of Plascoat Europe), run small scale trials/samples at our local laboratory.

- Develop and implement Sales & Marketing strategies for expansion into new markets (water, outdoor furniture, etc) and raise Plascoat brand awareness in China

- Develop and maintain key relationships with clients and prospects through customer visits, participation at trade shows and association meetings

Qualifications required:

- Minimum 5 years work experience in the metal coating business

- Preferably Bachelors Degree in science with experience in sales and marketing

- Outgoing and communicative personality, being able to work independently

- Mandarin native speaker, good oral and written English skills

- Willingness for extensive domestic travel

- Interest to work in a small, dynamic organization with 15 employees
