DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible to review new projects and provide cost estimates of new products to support sales team to make quotation for customer.

- Responsible to review new projects and provide cost estimates of tooling and development cost to support sales team to make quotation for customer.

- Responsible to provide cost of prototype for new projects.

- Setup internal material cost database with local material cost.

- Supports the Purchasing Department in the cost analysis of supplied component.

QUALIFICATION

- Broad knowledge and understanding of Engineering and Finance functions in a product development environment with Automotive experience and excellent quantitative analysis/modeling capability.

- Excellent communication and team work skills will be required for the necessary interfacing with Project Management and counterparts/management in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement.

- 3+ years experience in a procurement, operations, manufacturing or supply chain environment, preferably in product development with direct Target Costing experience.

- Strong computer skills and modeling experience is required which might include: Microsoft Excel, CAD programs, and product evaluation software.

- Bachelor or above in Engineering or Quantitative Analysis fields, Supply Chain or Finance.

- Good English communication skill(oral, writing, reading, listening) is preferred.
