The position requires a creative hospitality design leader within the industry and the company. He/she is responsible for efficiently leading presenting projects and design team to ensure they meet the design excellence requirements of Company.

Job Requirements:

1. Leadership skills - is responsible for success of their team and a support to other associates.

2. Responsible for training and encouraging other levels of staff

3. Client liaison

4. Ability to present

5. Ability to inspire a team

6. Review of all stages of a project prom beginning to end

7. Responsible for billing and controlling clients (when possible)

8. Sharing knowledge and supporting other associates where their skills may be lacking

9. Design Skills/ Creative thinker

10.Can resolve design issues from concept to construction

11.With between 8-10years of professional design experience

Montaigne Design is a research-based design practice, which collaborates closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver a project that meets time frames, budgets and brand requirements.
Under the auspices of Principal Cathy Wang, MD operates within an open studio concept. By utilizing the artistic strengths and experience of the design team, we create interiors as unique as each of our clients. MD creates styles which capture the “spirit of the East” while incorporating the “best of the West”.

MD is based in Shanghai, Xiamen, Toronto and Paris where we are in close proximity to our clients. We are easily accessible and clients have the convenience of paying for services locally thereby saving on ever-fluctuating currencies.

Our experienced design teams provide a full range of interior design services. Our portfolio includes hotels, resorts, private residences, show flats, retail outlets, restaurants, nightclubs and office lobbies.
