POSITION SUMMARY:
The Telesales Executive is responsible for inviting potential guests via Telephone to attend a personal preview of our onsite sales gallery and offer a discounted holiday discovery package.
The Telesales Executive will represent Anantara Vacation Club in a courteous, enthusiastic and diligent manner. All guests that are invited on a holiday package preview will be required to attend a 90-minute sales presentation on the benefits of shared ownership with Anantara Vacation Club. It will be the Telesales Executive’s responsibility to ensure that each guest clearly understands the offer and adheres to the Details of Participation.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Call Centre Manager/Supervisor
Interfaces with: Other Call Centre, Marketing, Sales colleagues
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Contact potential guests by telephone to sell a discounted holiday package.
2. Follow a scripted presentation to ensure accurate communication to potential guests and to maximize the number of preview presentations booked.
3. Employ an empathetic, listening, problem solving approach to overcoming objections and persuade the guests to attend the preview presentation.
4. Support the customer’s decision to purchase and travel on the Holiday Discovery Package by sharing benefits and reinforcing the fun and rewarding aspects of the package.
5. Ensure all guests meet the qualifications and details of participation of each offer as set forth by AVC and ensure timely and accurate documentation of such.
6. Effectively manage Company assigned leads for maximum conversion to preview package sales.
7. Perform clerical or other reasonable duties requested by the Call Centre Manager/ Supervisor.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Extended periods of sitting required.
2. Processing and analysis of paperwork and computer screens require visual observation.
3. Heavy use of telephone for verbal communications.
4. Some light lifting and filing may be required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. College or bachelor above.
2. Excellent customer service and selling skills, including but not limited to, active listening, empathizing, problem solving, organized, detail oriented, follow through, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Previous telemarketing service and solution selling experience preferred.
4. Ability to work as a team player, in a personable and positive manner.
5. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high volume environment. Able to perform well under deadlines and respond well to an environment of constant change.
6. Basic English and good Putonghua speak.
