Sourcing & Production Assistant

Goals
1) Assist new suppliers to comply with LCW requirements such that we prevent problems.
2) Support in the management of existing suppliers such that they keep up with all requirements.
3) Provide communication in Mandarin when operationally this will enable better supplier performance.
4) Provide effective CPS management of VIP projects.

Objective
1) Grow the Chinese Accessories and Footwear Business effectively.
2) Create confidence in buying from China amongst the Head Office Accessories Department’s Buyers, Designers and Planners.

Roles & Reponsibilities
1) Support in the launch of the Footwear Supplier Manual and later this season the Accessories Manual.
2) Follow up all communication to new suppliers and linking to non sales staff who are directly responsible for labelling, packaging and production issues.
3) CPS management of suppliers in their first season and all VIP projects for all suppliers.
4) Assist in communicating with suppliers on any Quality and AQL issues.

Reporting
1) Reports to the appropriate member of the Shanghai Office in terms of standard personnel issues.
2) Their work / duties will be directed by Matthew / Selma from Head Office who will also provide training and support.
