Main Role:

Responsiblefor on-going maintenance of the corporate office and retail stores. This includes but is not limited to integrating cabling, servers, software, networks and security solutions. Provide excellent internal customer service and help to raise productivity and increase reliability. Managing application selection,configuration, testing, training and deployment for all retail IT solutions.
Management and monitoringof current vendors based on pre-defined service levels &KPI.

Vendor management of new system implementation as the project member.

Improve the efficiency & effectiveness of the business through utilizing IT & defining better processes

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Infrastructure

· Support the North Asia IT Senior Manager in developing an integrated IT infrastructure to support the initial and growing need of the business

· Develop the overall IT infrastructure strategy and implementation roadmap based on agreed business requirements

· Lead all testing of deployed technologies

· Manage and lead hardware supply (laptops, servers, storage, PDAs, printers, peripherals, optical media, etc.)

· Set-up servers to meet business needs (mail server, file server, print server)

· Lead and develop integrated networking solutions (WAN, LAN, Video Conference, VPN, Remote access)

· Develop VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) to help reduce telephony costs

· Provide equipment support and develop out-sourced partnerships (break-fix, maintenance, system backups, disaster support, contract negotiation)

· Implement network security solutions help to minimize risks

· Meet ad-hoc IT infrastructure requests from internal colleagues

· Selection of out-source vendors supporting IT infrastructure and manage daily dealings with vendors

Applications

· Assist the North Asia IT Senior Manager in development of an overall IT strategy for China

· Works with internal business functions on defining retail IT requirements to help drive enterprise modeling, business modeling, data modeling, and application development methodology

· Create and refine RFP requirements

· Select vendors and lead negotiation to introduce new retail business applications

· Work with 3rd party software vendors on leading the deployment, configuration, integration and testing of key retail applications (e.g. Merchandise Execution, Merchandise Planning, Demand Forecasting, Warehouse Management, ERP, POS, CRM)

· Maintain and upgrade existing applications to support business needs

· Lead projects and manage tasks using project management &tracking methods such as WBS

· Develop mini-applications with tools such as excel & access to raise productivity of other divisions

Business Operations

· Define & document business processes

· Identify areas for efficiency & effectiveness gains

Required Experience & Skills:

· Education: University Degree level at minimum

· Excellent project management skills

· Excellent vendor negotiation and management skills

· Experience of, at a minimum, managing the deployment of a retail ERP, POS, and Data Warehouse applications within a retailer in China

· Experience in Microsoft Dynamics & NAV or SAP

· Experience in ERP integration / upgrades

· Application development skills in Excel & Access is a plus

· Service mentality for all IT related matters& continually & proactively seeks opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction& efficiencies & effectiveness for the company

· Strong communicator with strong team mentality

· Fluency in English& Mandarin a must. Japanese will be a plus.
