Major Responsibility

• Become knowledgeable in process and facility/utility equipment within the operations.
• Plan, coordinate and direct stand-alone and cross-functional project teams to improve plantproductivity and meet long range business goals.
• Provide technical leadership in selecting and designing process and facility/utility equipment.
• Analyze the performance of equipment and make improvements.
• Modify existing equipment to add new manufacturing/product/process capabilities to the plant.
• Design, specify, buy, install and de-bug new equipment and equipment upgrades.
• Review and update all drawings, machine specifications and SOP's (Standard Operation Procedure) associated with equipment installations and upgrades.
• Provide training for newly installed equipment and programs. Take responsibility for building and improving the technical strength of the maintenance team.
• Attend training related to the field of equipment and manufacturing systems. Become thoroughly knowledgeable in equipment for whole plant.
• Visit equipment conferences/exhibitions to keep informed on new technologies.
• Emphasize safety in projects by strict adherence to applicable codes and standards. Comply with all government regulations with regards to facilities, utilities, etc.
• Solicit technical support from division and corporate engineering groups as needed.
• Be responsible for supplier and contractor management and cost control.
• Complete follow up actions required from production/safety/environment audits.
• Coordinate with other maintenance engineers on people resource, collect necessary equipment information prior to developing, implementing project plan.
• Be responsiblefor spare parts management and localization initiative.
• Develop complete equipment list. Responsible for new equipment entry and change management
• Improve CMMS (Computer Management Maintenance System) as needed.
• Second line responsibility for support to production needs (troubleshooting).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or Atomation or equivalent.
• 6+ years' experience on equipment engineering in manufacturing environment, plus 3+ years in multi-national company.
• Strong record of results for a multi-national company.
• Experiencesin working with and/or supervising project teams.

• Equipment engineering, manufacturing systems and technical expertise.
• Good problem solving/troubleshooting skill and rational thinking.
• Rich hands-on experiences with production floor equipment.
• Knowledge of power distributions, equipmentand controls.
• Strong equipment drawing with AutoCAD or comparable draft software skill.
• Good supervision, communicationand interpersonal skill.
• Ability to use of data and metrics to improve performance.
• Initiative, pro-active, self-motivated and motivate others
• Fluent in written and oral English.
• Teamwork
