Key Responsibilities:
- Develops product ideas and proposes and execute produce lifecycle management plans and participates and leads the development of the product line strategy.
- Analyzes product and market data.
- Carries out / champions effective, timely product launches
- Develops and deploys effective product value propositions
- Lead interface for the customer, CSR, sales, marketing, program management, applications and field engineering. Gives expert advice on industry, customer, and regulatory standards and how their products perform against them.
- Assists internal teams in product, quality, and service issues to lead to a quick resolution for the customer, balancing the needs of Corning and the customer.
- Optimizes inventory management by coordinating information flow as needed between Forecasting, Sales, Supply Change Management, Manufacturing, and other parties.
- Identifies opportunities to reduce complexity and cost reduction in the manufacturing process both at Corning Cable Systems plants and the customer site.
- Understands downstream market requirements and understands and assesses competitive solutions and threats and implications for the business.
- Visit customers with Sales/ Marketing/Program Management in order to introduce or gather customer requirements, voice of the customer and present product offerings.
- Optimizes floor pricing levels with Product Pricing Office by establishing pricing strategy, optimizing product premiums, and ensuring value received for product line in team with Pricing Team.
- Proposes, develops and deploys promotions jointly with sales and marketing.
- Creates short-term and long term forecasts within their responsibilities, and teams with SCM and manufacturing to deliver products to Data Centers timely.
- Leads PLM elements of project bid.
- Executes the product line plan, including leadership or participation in critical projects to be undertaken for the year.
- Secures Plug & Play Training of Sales Team

Experiences/Education:
- Degree/Bachelor’s or similar degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Training/Education cable assembly, optical connectivity or networking preferred

Required
- Demonstrated track record of managing projects.
- Demonstrated track record of leading multi-functional teams.
- Fluent English written and spoken, and Chinese also preferred.
- Good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and MS Office in general
