Duties and Responsibilities
Draft and design layout of equipment,material, and workspace to illustrate maximum effciency,using appropriate computer software.
Study operations sequence,material flow, functional statements, oranization charts, and project information to determine worker dunctions and responsibilities.
Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, materrial, and utilities.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods ,proceduress and activities.
Provide technical support for production forecasts,material substitutions, storage and handing facilities,and maintenance requirements.
Advice on alternative workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations.
Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirments and production standards.
Confer with venders, staff and managements personal regarding purchasses for efficiency.
Continuously evaluate existing production processes for efficiency.
Provide problem solving support to all areas to all areas of the operatioan, as required.
Track the status thru completion of plant improvement tasks.
