MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sells and provides technical support and service in the field of Anthropomorphic Test Devices, related equipment and products or services

Key Role Deliverable include but are not limited to

Calls on Chinese customers, such as engineers or other professional and technical individuals and attempts to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.

Must have the ability to sell on corporate advantages, product strengths and attributes not on price.

Prepares accurate and timely sales forecasts and projections and assures key sales targets are met.

Reviews blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client's use of proposed equipment or services.

Draws up or proposes changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.

Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

Draws up sales or service contracts and proposals for product or service offers to clients. Will assist with Order entry as necessary and product quotations.

Provides technical training to employees of client or Humanetics.

Preparation of seminar materials, presentation and scheduling such events for Chinese market.

Attends SAE and other important meetings as needed.

Adheres to ISO 9001,ISO 14001, A2LA Quality System Procedures established within Humanetics.

Skills and Competencies Required

1. Experience in working in a small group of people.

2. Knowledge of the Chinese automotive industry, specifically in crashworthiness and vehicle safety simulation. Crash testing experience is a plus.

3. Technical sales experience in the field of crashworthiness in the Chinese market is an

advantage for the position.

4. Understanding of crash impact events, material behaviour and manufacturing processes.

5. Experience working with multiple international locations of the same discipline is a plus.

6. Ability to work within a diverse workforce.

7. Ability to follow through on work assignments, realistic scheduling and observance of deadlines.

8. Independent judgment to determine project guidelines, purpose, follow-through and completion.

9. Ability to understand/speak/write English fluently.

10. Ability to work under conflicting and frequently changing priorities

11. Able to provide strong listening, interpersonal, team working and organizational skills

12. Flexibility

13. Able to create a positive "can do" attitude

Experience: The following experience is relevant to the role

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university; five years related experience and/or training The individual should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and demonstrate ability for problem solving and timely reporting.
