Job Description
1.Strong metallurgical experience relating to aluminium

2.Familiar with casting technologies and equipment

3.Heat treatment experience preferred

4.Conduct process planning from 2D drawings to process sketches

5.Familiar with case machining process

6.Familiar with tooling technologies

7.Provide expert guidance to JV’s in optimising case machining quality and productivity

8.Develop and ensure process adherence for casting and machining process

9.Develop standardised process and equipment standards for JV’s

10.Develop new technology to continue review market advances

11.Connects between GFT/GETRAG/GAP for all relevant work tasks around tooling/MC suppliers in regards to case quality, and tooling execution to meet prototype/mass production timing targets and quality

Offer technical support and governance to JV’s

Skill:
1.Bachelor or Master of Science in engineering or similar education

2.More than 5 years of experience in case machining / die cast / CMM processes

3.Good practical and theoretical understanding in transmission manufacturing systems

4.Good knowledge of die casting process

5.Good understanding of investment efficient manufacturing processes

6.Positive mindset and business oriented leadership with talent to motivate and inspire people around you

7.Experienced in working in an international environment

8.Excellent communication skills, good skills in English

9.Willing to travel to our JV locations at Jiangxi and Hubei province for onsite reviews and training of local people

GAP will lead and coordinate engineering and sales activities for GETRAG Corporate Group throughout Asia.
