eBay Classifieds Group's (eCG) is a fast-growing subsidiary of eBay Inc, with several dozen web sites spanning six continents and offices located in a dozen countries across the globe. The central data services for eCG are provided by a multi-functional team of data warehouse engineers, business analysts and BI specialists based in the Shanghai office. As the manager of this group, you will be responsible not only for leading the local team, but also for providing visionary leadership for data and BI within eCG. You will work closely with your colleagues across the globe and maintain strong connections within the eBay China Center of Excellence (COE) so as to leverage the full range of resources available within eBay Inc.

• Defining team direction and strategy, including team vision, mission, and culture.
• Hiring and growing local talent, fostering an atmosphere of innovation and excellence
• Maintaining close contact with business stakeholders in various eCG offices across the globe, with the goal of understanding and servicing business needs, as well as proactively providing guidance to business units based on best practices.
• Developing and delivering the data warehouse product roadmap and user support services, with the goal of maximizing the availability and use of eCG data.
• Maintaining contacts within the eBay China Center of Excellence, with the goal of leveraging eBay technical knowledge within eCG.
• Building and maintaining world-class BI services and support training for the group.
