A. Main Tasks

Strategic purchasing

· Implement JESA Group purchasing strategy in China

· Improve and optimize purchasing performances, having a supplier base consistent with our business strategy (quality and reliability, innovation, speed and flexibility)

· Use established procedures for the selection and ongoing evaluation of suppliers (Class A, B, C)

· Research, evaluation and selection of new suppliers that meet JESA’s innovation standards

· Coordinate with the JESA CH purchaser

Supplier selection and negotiations

· Find the optimal suppliers for each product category: raw materials, components, subcontracting, services ...

· Participate in new product development meetings, depending on the purchasing volume involved

· Negotiate framework agreements with suppliers, including confidentiality agreements, financial contracts and quality contracts

· Establish and develop framework contracts with suppliers consistent with sales contracts

· Set payment terms, supply and transportation providers in accordance with the financial policy

· Specify purchasing batch sizes , according to framework contracts

· Document all requirements and specifications negotiated

Suppliers monitoring

·Supplier Quality Concept: Evaluation and audit, documentation, development, in collaboration with the Quality Manager

·In collaboration with the production manager, establish benchmarks for products purchased and revise prices if needed

Relationships with suppliers

·Manage relationships with suppliers (visits, contacts ...)

·Involve suppliers in new product development

·Integrate suppliers with technical knowledge and potential innovations in new product development, in collaboration with M&I (Method & Industrialization),

·Collaborate with Quality Engineer to manage the quality claims

·Entering and updating suppliers ERP data

Logistic

· Assure an optimized stock level

· Responsible for the custom duties and organize transport to Europe

· Procurement Management for JSH and JCH

·Participation in the procurement process definitions

C. Requirement

1. General:

- Good communicator. Excellent internal and external communication skills are essential to the credibility of the purchasing department with other JESA’s departments and the image of the company vis-à-vis its suppliers

- Enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams

- Good knowledge of ERP systems (can be acquired on the job)

- Sense of responsibility

- Structured and organized

- Oriented in continuous improvement

- Understanding of technical problems: the buyer must be able to communicate internally or externally on different technical products (without being an expert)

- Good negotiation skills

2. Languages

- Mandarin : very good knowledge of written and oral

- English : very good knowledge of written and oral

3. Professional experiences

- Experiences in direct contact with customers and / or suppliers (negotiations)

- Experiences working in an industrial environment

4. Training

- Commercial and / or technical education. Must have the taste / feeling for the area in which he has no training
