Requirements:
· Bachelor degree or above
· CET-6 or above, good at speaking, listening and writing.
· At least 5 years experience as quality engineer, furniture/kitchen/hardware industry preferred
· Familiar with ISO9001 is preferred.
· Frequent travels are required.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure suppliers are aligned with and adhere to Nobia's environmental, H&S and CSR requirements.
· Ensure tools are developed with suppliers to capture, feedback and follow-up on material quality issues.
· Feedback, follow-up and closure of quality and service issues from suppliers.
· Carry out routine reviews of supplier quality performance (with the support of Purchasing).
· To conduct pre delivery inspections at suppliers on an as required basis.
· Support the Purchasing and SQA teams to develop proposals which scrutinise the re-engineering of product to take out cost while maintaining customer requirements and standards.
· Proactively interact with suppliers and buyers to reduce cost of product and process.
· Ensure all supplied material fulfils and consistently conforms to necessary standards of compliance (Nobia, Customer and/or Legal – e.g. FIRA, FSC, EUTR etc)
· Continually develop the NSAR Process in accordance with Nobia's requirements
· Develop and implement a program of routine Supplier Assessment (inc. 3rd parties)
· Support Purchasing and SQA to identify potential sources of capable supply.
· Ensure appropriate actions are implemented, addressed and closed-out to support the supplied material KPI's.
· Support suppliers to develop processes and systems which manufacture and supply materials to the required standards and specifications.
· Support suppliers to improve efficiencies and reduce spoilage to keep quality costs to a minimum.
· Ensure quality standards developed with suppliers do not drift outside the requirements.
· Proactively interact with all areas within all areas within Nobia Group and its suppliers.
