职位描述

Sourcing Engineer - Cable

Main Objectives:
1. Work closely with the SCM team, peer groups to ensure company's corporate (SCM) Supply Chain Management performance metrics are reached or exceeded.
2. Implement Corporate Supply Chain Management Standard works and best practice throughout Product Support Purchasing at PDMC.
3. Support the new product development and/or product transfer.
4. Drive cost saving and productivity improvement by localization, negotiation, supply base optimization.
5. Supplier development and management.
6. Other task may be assigned by the manager or the company.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Supplier management and continuous improvement of supplier performance is a primary responsibility of this job. Promptly respond and meet personally with suppliers, at their facility or Nordson’s facility to address issues as required to effectively manage them.
2. Develop & execute against regional Commodity Strategies, & support their alignment with global Commodity Strategies.
3. Negotiate agreements, terms, conditions, logistics and pricing with suppliers as required.
4. Take the lead from purchasing under the supervision of the PSP supervisor to support product transfer, products improvement or new designed product implement.
5. Manage material supply and stable and flexibility material supply to support business goals
6. Communicate problems or difficulties related to the proper performance of the job. And recommending effective corrective action on problems.
7. Follow all work processes, rules and expected behaviors for Nordson China employees .
8. Perform other duties as assigned by manager .

Qualification Requirements / Degrees:
1. College education or above, major in electronics/electrical is preferred.
Working Experience:
1. 5 years total working experiences or more .
2. At least 3 years working experience in purchasing within an international company.
3. PPAP, or lean project experience is a plus.

Skills:
1. Be familiar with SAP or similar ERP.
2. Be good at using MS-office software (excel, word, PPT, etc).
3. Sourcing Skills.
4. Fluent English communication skill both in writing and speaking.
5. Strong communication skills with internal and external teams.
