Job Title:Applications Engineer
Reporting to:Applications Team leader
Purpose Of Job:To work within a small team providing a design facility whose primary focus is the provision of excellent customer and interdepartmental service levels whilst maintaining a professional and focused approach to all tasks undertaken.
Responsibilities:To ensure the timely and accurate progression of all drawings, using Photomoudeler and solidworks submitted to head office within a pressurized and challenging environment that will experience rapid growth as the UK parent company expands its operations in China.
Key Measures-KPIs to measure success
-Number of drawings completed per day (average) / week / month
-Accuracy of drawings submitted
-Timely response to, all drawings and relay / follow up of queued job
Key Relationships
Internal:Applications team leader and other members of the App's team
External:UK applications team/Customer Service department
Personal Specification
Education/Professional Qualifications:
Applications must be trained to BA Degree or higher in one or a mix of the following areas:
-Engineering
-Design
Knowledge Required :
-Design sofeware/ solidworks, Photomoudeler ( an advantage)
-Good IT skills
Personal Qualities:
-Native Chinese
-English (written and spoken) an advantage
-Demonstrate a professional attitude and approach to all work-related tasks
-Be organised, motivated and have an enthusiastic personality
-Understand the need for good documentation control and system procedures
-Good sense of humour
-Ability to adapt to different challenges, situations and rapid business growth
-Good problem solving
-Ability to work under pressure
-Analytical
-Being able to work on your own initiative
-Being a team player
-Being keen to learn new knowledge
