Main Responsibilities:

1. New Project Implementation:
a) To provide technical assistance and advices on the E&M design for all refrigerated warehouse associated building services system, refrigeration system and equipments
b) To identify & select the refrigeration system and other equipments with cost & performance comparison.
c) To supervise the installation, testing & commissioning of E&M facilities, refrigeration system & other equipments. Comment on any method of statement and T&C proposal submitted by vendors. Spot-checks on installation workmanship and supervise on refrigeration system commissioning.


2. Plant and Facility Operation & Maintenance.
a) Attend to all Refrigeration/Utilities/Material Handling equipment in operation.
b) Develop and execute routine maintenance schedule for all Plant & Equipment.
c) Spare Parts Inventory control.
d) Staff training for Engineering Department at local site level.
e) Trouble shooting/Emergency repair to all Equipment breakdowns.
f) Participation in designated Project works.
g) Compliance of Legal requirements.
h) Keep proper record of all Plant/Line and Equipment including modification update.
i) Keep close watch of the performance of all equipment and alert Operation well informed of any potential engineering problems and develop contingency plan ahead of time.
j) Keep all Equipment well but not over lubricated, dust free and clean.
k) Making use of the Sprint and SPC Reports to identify problem areas and/or to look for area for improvement.
l) Review overall equipment Security and Safety.
m) Develop and drive all positive cost reduction opportunities.

Experience, Qualification and other Requirements:
1. Degree in Engineering Discipline or Mechanical, HVAC & Refrigeration Engineering related subject or equivalent;
2. Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering related field (refrigeration field is more preferred)
3. Experience in Experience in cold storage refrigeration system
4. Experience in management of plants annual overhaul, preventive maintenance
5. Good communication and negotiation skills, positive attitude towards challenges
