Buying Manager - Hardlines
Responsibilities:
? Evaluate and analyze the functions, features, production process and material cost of hardline products;
? Provide recommendation on how to reduce cost by making changes in products, yet achieving the same safety, quality and design requirements for customers;
? Work closely with different internal departments, buyers and suppliers to present the analysis and recommendations;
? Negotiate with suppliers for the best and reasonable costs
? Conduct cost comparison with different suppliers and provide analysis of the market
? Handle Ad-hoc and NPD Projects.
Requirements :
? University graduate with minimum 6 years buying/merchandising/manufacturing experience in hardline products. Experience in product development, costing and manufacturing is essential;
? Sound knowledge in plastic injection, tooling, steel/metal works, electronic components;
? Assertive, self-motivated & excellent organizational skills;
? Excellent interpersonal skill and negotiation skills as well as capability to interact effectively with all levels;
? Able to handle multi-tasks and possess a high level of initiative and integrity;
? Willing to travel;
? Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin;
