Project Quality Manager –
Function:
Ensure that the necessary quality and safety measures (acc. Control Plan and Special Characteristics) for the project and the process are identified noted and done with respect to all requirements. In case of deviations make sure that appropriate corrective actions are taken. Assurance of Lessons Learned.

Principal Accountabilities
Pursuing (i.e. tracking, requesting, supporting, provision of methodologies), that the required methods in a project are implemented according to Project Plan / Quality Plan (this includes e.g. status meetings, APQP, Knowledge Management, Risk Management).
? Drive the analysis of product and process weaknesses, initiate and/or apply measures for quality improvements (e.g. based on quality plan)
? Evaluate and track the project quality status for supplied parts, in development, in production and at the customer on a regular basis. Decide and approve (e.g.:based on risk assessments) upon the project quality in borderline or special cases (e.g.: approve special releases of supplied parts, finished goods, manufacturing processes, ...)
? Request for warranty return service concept
? Participate / contribute to System FMEA, D-FMEA, FTA, FMEDA

Production launch and ramp up:
? Plan and initiate measures to validate the product. Initiate qualification program (incl. product audit and re-qualification program). Evaluate robustness / maturity of the product, document and approve the validation results (LRR, PPAP, PV,...)
? Evaluate application of Q-related requirements (e.g.: control plan, PDB data, MCA, PCA,...) and decide the release of the manufacturing line
? Train and instruct production quality, warranty analysis and customer technical service personnel

Series production:
? Review existing methods and processes regarding potential improvements; if necessary initiate improvement actions.
? Support responsible departments (e.g.: research and development, manufacturing planning, ...) to develop quality oriented concepts (e.g.: product-design / layout review).
? Release changes (e.g.: test- and manufacturing processes, supplied parts, finished goods, ...), if necessary after clarification with responsible departments.
? Collect, document (e.g.: product history record) and distribute quality relevant lessons learnt. Coordinate product related quality issues and measures worldwide.
? Quality reporting, definition and monitoring of corrective actions in accordance with project team. Collect Q-data from all disciplines, creates Project Quality Report, which contains an evaluation of the project quality in respect to product and process quality and therefore defines the project quality status.
? Determine quality related additional costs and its technical details in order to obtain refunds
? Initiate and review special containments (e.g.: rework actions, selections, ...)
? Part change notification (PCN) coordination, definition of release requirements, approval, customer communication

Customer contact:
? Part of the project core team, key contact (project quality manager) for internal and external customers regarding all quality topics (e.g.: Quality Assurance Agreement (QAA), ppm-targets, warranty return flow, validation results)
? Manage customer claims (define and initiate analysis, problem resolution, containments / corrective and preventive actions, e.g.: 8D)

Success Criteria:
Support PM and TPL as technical expert to ensure project meet quality targets.
Project Milestones can be effectively fulfill and on time.
Fulfill customer satisfaction during projects.
Drive BU process/method implementation
Pass certification audit

Major Requirements / Expectations:
? Engineering Bachelor, electrical engineering & TS16949 Auditor Certification preferred
? 5 years of general experience at least
? Minimum 2 years of general experience in the automotive industry.
? Minimum 3 years experience in engineering/project management/Quality management
? Minimum 1 years experience of working on TS16949 quality system directly
? Quality standards, methods and tools (e.g.:APQP, 8d, FMEA, ...), Statistical methods,
? Component knowledge incl. basics for sourcing and manufacturing technologies
? Qualification and Verification strategies,
? Quality management of product development experience high preferred
? Design and Manufacutring experience plus
? Strong oral and written communication skills.
? Delivering effective relationship
