Sales Area Manager China (Defense & Civil Systems)

You'll be the 1^st sales for Defense & Civil Systems Division in China. Business reporting line is to Sales Manager in Germany. Product training will be done in Germany.

Responsibility

-Identify customer needs in the industry (Defense & Civil)

-Analyze new market opportunities for our products and services

-Maintain and enhance relationships with current customers

-Create competitive analysis for products and customers

-Develop and define advertising and marketing plan

-Prepare customer requests for proposals and respond to quetions from customers

-Prepare budgets and foecasts for budget planning

-Prepare oder intake forecast

-Attend conventions, conferences, etc.

-Primary point of contact with sales and marketing of JENOPTIK Defense and Civil Systems Division

-Supervise and contrl, existing and new appointed local sales representatives and distributors

-Create monthly status reports

-Create company presentations

Requirement

-Bachelor degree in engineering or business

-10 years experience in the industry or related industry

-Extensive network for customer relationships that will enable him/her to develop new customers and new markets for JENOPTIK Defense and Civil Systems

-Proven track record in Business Development

-Excellent knowledge of English both in verbal and in written form

-Additinoal knowledge of German shall be considered a plus

-Ability to work with others in complex management matrix structure

-Willingness to travel

As an integrated optoelectronics group, Jenoptik operates in five divisions: Lasers & Material Processing, Optical Systems, Industrial Metrology, Traffic Solutions and Defense & Civil Systems.
