The employee is allocated to one or more projects as Mechanical equipment Engineer.
The employee is, within the contractual frame for the project, responsible for securing that mechanical design is executed according to the customer's requirements and expectations, as well as contributing towards an efficient project execution in accordance with the time schedule, price and quality.
This will take place through:
-A close dialog with the Lead Mechanical Equipment Engineers and users concerning the project scope and customers requirements.
-Ensuring good design quality output in compliance with relevant procedure and standards.
-Tender preparation, evaluation of contractor/supplier's technical biddings and technical negotiations before contract.
-Knowledge of Chinese local regulatory requirements and standards.
-Cross disciplinary coordination, including site & workshop support.
-Skilful usage of AutoCAD software.
The employee will contribute with consultancy work for mechanical equipment solutions, and challenge our customers in their choice of mechanical equipment design concepts/strategies.
The employee will contribute toward NP's development of execution methods and standards for mechanical engineering through sharing experiences, as well as collecting and distributing better practices. This can, in agreement with the Department Manager, include specific development and/or operational tasks in the department.
Qualification:
-Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical, chemical or pharmaceutical engineering or similar.
-Mechanical Equipment engineer must have minimum 5 years working experience in pharmaceutical- or biochemical industries.
-Experience in mechanical engineering in general.
-Good skill in computer, familiar with CAD and Micro Soft programs.
-Having engineering company and local design institute work experience in static equipment and rotator machine is desirable.
-Good skill in spoken, written and reading English.
