Job Description and Responsibilities

1. Ensuring maintenance of books of account in accordance with international standards.

2. Preparation and submission of monthly management reporting packages in accordance with group reporting deadlines

3. Preparation of other management reports as required to assist in the running of the business.

4. Support urgent management reporting requests from GC or regional office.

5. Preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, monthly management forecasts and quarterly forecast.

6. Maintenance of the cash flow, credit control of the accounts receivables and timely settlement of accounts payable.

7. Preparation of the Year End Financial Reporting Package to regional office in accordance with group reporting deadlines.

8. Review China payroll with external accounting advisers (to be confirmed if needed).

9. Filing of the local income and profits tax returns.

10. Co-ordination with internal regional and external auditors.

11. Ensuring timely issuing and settlement of client invoices.

12. Monthly reconciliation of all intercompany receivables/payables

13. Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and strengthening of internal systems and controls.

Selection Criteria

1. A recognised professional accounting qualification or equivalent.
2. Minimum 8 years experience in management accounting according to international standards; of which at least 5 years should have been in a supervisory position having responsibility for full set of accounts.
3. The ability to converse fluently in both written and spoken English.
4. A good working knowledge of computerised accounting systems and software.
5. An understanding and appreciation of the legal and taxation requirements of the operation.
6. Strong leadership and communication skills with staff at all levels and clients.
7. Working experience in an international environment. It will be a plus if worked with a multinational company before.
