We are looking for a Deployment Engineer to join a dynamic team developing a new version of an AAA established Ubisoft brand. You will work closely with Producers, Technical Director, Platform Services Leads, Tech Leads and Studio Engineers. Together you will drive to develop, implement and maintain a suite of LIVE sub systems as part of a high quality game in an English speaking environment. Using existing technology and new developments, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and success of the LIVE game deployment.

Required experience

· Source configuration management experience (build & deployment process)

· Strong knowledge on source control systems. Ex. Perforce, CVS, etc.

· Advance Perforce configuration experience.

· Proficiency at reusing, adopting and integrating existing code

· Packaging and deployment of software components

· Managing patches and their configurations

· C++, C#, Relational Databases, scripting languages (Python, Powershell, NANT)

· Good understanding of windows components. IIS, Win-RM, Windows Server.

· Strong communication tactics/ knowledge sharing

· Very good communication skills within and across teams with varied technical skills

Core Competencies and Key Responsibilities

· Develop, integrate and maintain software branches, environments for development.

· Participate in the building on platform backend systems such as the deployment tool, monitoring and telemetry systems.

· Participate in peer reviewing of code to maintain code quality, reliability & reusability.

· Experience developing and maintaining a large-scale online real-time systems (preferably an online game)

· Liaise with Live Ops Team to help address or document live issues

Preferred additional experience

· Passionate about online gaming

· Basic experience in developing database application, especially on MS-SQL and MySQL.

· Computer Science degree required

· Perforce configuration

· Prior AAA shipped games.
