PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The web developer will build the patient facing web application, and also rapidly iterate on mobile optimized apps. The team will be rapidly prototyping and rolling out new applications using an agile project management methodology.

Critical:

· Strong HTML and CSS skills

· Strong JavaScript skills

Big plus:

· Knowledge and experience using AJAX and JQuery

· Experience developing mobile optimized web sites/ web apps

· Experience using PhoneGap a huge plus

· Experience using JavaScript mobile frameworks a huge plus (e.g. Sencha Touch, JQuery Mobile, Sproutcore, etc)

Nice to have:

· Management experience

· Able to do backend work when necessary (java, python, etc)

· Experience using SQL and No SQL databases (Mongo, Couch, Freebase etc)

· Some other related scripting languages that compile into Java Script e.g. coffee script

· Experience participating in open source projects, contributing to development forums - early adopter of new frameworks and technologies

Other Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree

· At least 3 years experience

· Fluent in English - Direct report to group director, who does not speak Chinese
