Urban Planner

logon is a German-based international design office that specializes in integrating urban planning, architecture and landscape disciplines to provide solutions perfectly tailored to the given location and context.

The roots of logon in Germany date back to 2001. Since then, as demand has grown for full-service tailored solutions, so has logon. Identifying a maturing need for profitable, high quality construction design within the Chinese market, logon began to work in China in 2001 as an architecture and urban design service provider to private investors. To facilitate developing business in China mainland, 2005 marked the opening of the logon Shanghai office by entrepreneurs Frank Krueger and Wang Fang. Today, more than 50 full-time staff work at logon Shanghai.

Since its beginnings, logon has upheld its vision to design to truly embrace the needs of the end-user. This vision is enabled namely thanks to the use of German processes and quality standards but also to the commitment of logon to continuously preempt needs, namely through the research work of the in-house logon lab.

Currently, the Shanghai design office provides a full-service offering in a wide range of architectural sectors, and has successfully participated in over 200 projects all across China.

We are expanding continuously and　there　will　be　more　interesting　projects　this　year.　We　welcom　all proactive talents to join our creative design team for our Shanghai office.


Brief outline:

The main purpose of the urban planner function is for urban planning and urban design projects and to advise as and when necessary on urban planning related questions on other projects. The urban planner takes and gives instructions and converts them into the client’s requirements by providing design solutions.

Responsibilities:

Daily:
_ research and study the context and the urban relations of the project
_design MP, traffic options and positioning issues
_work with the architect, make sure the work in progress follows the design and verify its accuracy against the client’s requirements

Weekly:
_ concerning the ongoing project design direction, adherence to schedule and other related issues
_ make changes/corrective actions from instructions from clients
_ analyze location, context and surroundings of a project
_propose MP layouts, space solutions, traffic and road systems, index and control requirements

Monthly:
_ revise and verify the time schedule and the work accomplished.
_follow the development of the MP at the Landscape Design phase
_complete drawings & presentation documents
_revise the status of the team in accordance with the various action stages of design and other needs

Required skills/Experiences:
_bachelor degree in urban design or related fields
_min. 5 years experience in urban planning, urban design, landscaper and architecture design fields
_auto CAD, creative suite and sketch up
_Bilingual language communication skills both written and oral
_experience of working in an International office would be an advantage
_ open to new ideas and working procedures

职位描述

城市规划师的主要职责是负责公司的城市规划和城市设计项目，并针对公司其他项目的城市规划相关问题提供咨询。城市规划师需根据客户的需求提供完善的设计解决方案。

职责

每日
_调查研究项目的城市周边环境
_负责总体规划、交通方案以及项目定位等
_在建筑师的协作配合下，确保在设计过程中紧密贴合客户的要求

每周
_确保设计工作依照进度进行
_对客户的设计改动进行相应的设计调整
_对项目的选址，文化背景以及周边环境进行分析
_给出总体规划设计，空间解决方案，交通及道路系统，指标和控制要求

每月
_修改和核实时间安排以及已经完成的工作
_在景观设计阶段跟进和深化总图
_完成汇报的图纸和文本
_根据设各计阶段的不同要求以及其他需要来调整团队的工作

职位要求：
_大学本科学历及以上，城市设计相关专业
_在城市规划、城市设计、景观或建筑设计领域至少5年工作经验
_会使用auto CAD, creative suite以及sketch up软件
_具备中英文双语的书面及口头的交流能力
_有外企工作经验尤佳
_接受新观点和工作流程
