Job Summary:
Lattice offers a wide range of Wireless application support in our FPGA device families. Our Intellectual Property (IP) and Solutions portfolio for these applications augment our device capabilities. While we have been successful in helping our customers slash down their time-to-market with our high performance and ready-to-use IP cores, we want to continue to invite experts to challenge the status. Our IP Development team is seeking outstanding team members to help design and implement “best-in-class” DSP solutions for video/image processing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers in understanding their IP requirements, define, design and verify IP solutions that fully meet their needs, focusing on Wireless solutions for communication applications, especially on the HetNet. Will focus on the Digital Front End implementation and optimization.
  
• Work with Si and SW development to assess ability of devices and implementation tools to support and implement new IP functionality. Work with Lattice Si and SW development to resolve IP/Si/SW issues.
  
• Analyze algorithms, simulate and verify with MATLAB/C, map solutions to FPGA architectures.
  
• Implement and/or verify complete RTL designs using standard FPGA synthesis and simulation tools. Efficiently target designs to Lattice programmable devices using Diamond SW.
  
• Develop verification test benches and test cases.
  
• Support IP product packaging for use with IPexpress.
  
• Support in-house HW validation.
  
• Provide design documentation and support design/application activities with external customers.
  

Qualifications:

• BSEE with 5+ years of experience required, MS/PhD preferred.
  
• Direct systemlevel experience architecting and designing solutions for wireless communication applications required, DFE application background preferred.
  
• Indepth knowledge and experience on various Wireless communication DSP algorithms, and their FPGA implementation.
  
• Working knowledge of specific design module requirements for wireless IP such as DUC, DDC, CFR, DPD, etc required.
  
• Handson ASIC and/or FPGA development experience with established company in wireless communication industry highly desirable.
  
• Proficient FPGA hardware design debugging skills.
  
• Must be able to work independently and also as team member.
  
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
