Tasks Description

Position: Major Tasks

Manage all IT development projects in APAC and function as the
Regional Technical Key Account Manager for all Strategic Global IT
customers in APAC which is the base to growth the IT business in APAC.
Development of IT industry segment application technical solutions
for our customers on new and existing project.
Provide advanced engineering and processing service to the customers,
organize and conduct engineering and processing seminar to the industry segment.
Provide part and mold design recommendations to new and existing IT
applications
Conduct on-site injection molding troubleshooting to ensure proper
processing of Bayer materials for all IT customers. so as to attain
material approval and specification.
Provide basic plastic part cost estimate (part weight, cycle time,
complexity, tooling) to determine feasibility of using BMS materials in
potential new IT applications.
Coordinate with the Regional IT industry segment RBS technical
marketing to monitor and follow-up on all strategic customer projects
for APAC business in order to maximize success.
Support key IT customers business through relationship management
with technical decision makers.
Bringing to market relevant development and research information on
new processes and new applications for IT applications.
Manage and provide in-depth knowledge and skill transfer to increase
the regions technical capabilities.
Ensure all IT technical issue related to product and technical
support is brought to appropriate teams for discussion and decisions.
Identification of strategic investment opportunities for PRDC based
on technical requirement for the market for the bases of creating
Intellectual property for PCS.
Be a team leader and provide technical guidance and impart his technical knowledge to the Engineering and Processing group.

- University graduate major in Plastic Engineering / Polymer Science or
Mechanical Engineering.
- More than 15 years hand on working experience in Plastics Processing Industry related to Injection molding, part design, tool design and trouble shooting of production problem.
- Requires proven expertise in plastic part design, tool design,
computer -aided engineering and FEA, finished part testing, advanced,
injection molding and extrusion techniques (I-C, 2-K, thin wall,
gas-assist, FIM, RIM)
- Good knowledge of secondary process (printing, in mold decoration,
etc) related to plastics industry.
- Requires extensive knowledge of Polycarbonate/Blends, TPU, and PUR, engineering and processing material properties and competitive products.
- Requires extensive experience and proven global application,
development and project management success at Polycarbonate/Blends parts/components Tier I /OEM suppliers
- Have a good understanding of the technical requirements from IT OEM
and end users
