Tasks Description

Position: Major Tasks

？ Coordinate relevant and material accounting and reporting activities
between the business functions, Central Accounting and SSO to ensure a
high quality and effectiveness of the local and global reporting data
in order to support Business decisions
？ Exercise close communication with Central Accounting and SSO:
o To support the local and global accounting & reporting process from
business accounting perspective: e.g. perform data analysis to ensure a
high data quality
o To coordinate accounting topics between SSO, Central Accounting and
local business
o Support to resolve process related issues or other critical issues
escalated by Central Accounting and SSO
？ To prepare and support Internal (incl. ICS) & External audits and
support the follow-up of the results together with Central Accounting,
SSO and other relevant functions in the local organization
？ Exercise close communication with local Business functions,
understand and identify their needs, help to optimize processes and
provide solutions to support business development
？ Support the roll out of workflow tools/systems/enablers in the area
of Transactional Accounting
？ Maintain relationship with local authority which has direct interface
with accounting function
？ Project support upon assignment
Collaboration, Networking, Partnership & Community
？ To actively support the local business functions in Business
development (e.g. WoC, M&A, new business model, strategy and other
projects)
？ To exercise close communication to Central accounting, SSO,
Controlling, BU BPA organizations and SG / BU Controlling



Requirements Description

Education:
？ A bachelor degree, preferable in finance and accounting. Professional
education in financial accounting.
Skills/experiences:
？ Minimum 4-year working experience in finance and/or accounting dept.
or other similar positions and basic knowledge on system settings and
internal controls
？ Knowledge of the internal and external Accounting (e.g. IFRS, PRC
GAAP, Bayer Group reporting guidelines and processes), general
knowledge of tax, finance related process in the legal entity
？ Strong interpersonal and communications skills
？ Familiar with MS office and related software
？ Experience with ERP Accounting Software / SAP is required
？ Can communicate in English in both writing and speaking
