China AR / Settlement Manager
Team Management
? Motivate, encourage and lead Accounts Receivable staff in all cities
? Outline clear and specific goals and put processes in place to measure results on a monthly basis and evaluate progress.
? Implement a system of training and cross training
Process Management
? Implement and maintain a strict and well documented process on setting up and evaluating new customer accounts to verify completeness of information received including settlement requirements
? Be Pro-Active to minimize settlement time, bad debt losses and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) on customer accounts by communicating daily with Management, Sales Staff and customers.
? Make himself/herself available to A/R staff and others at all times to help make decisions
? Conduct regular individual meetings with Sales Mgmt and Sales Staff to go over account aging and formulate a plan of action for collections
? Routinely field phone calls and do research (or delegate to A/R staff when necessary) for salesman and/or customers regarding billing, payments, etc.
Reporting
? Maintain series of Excel spreadsheets for Chief Financial Officer and other members of management to help assess company’s current position and to assist in month end closing process. (Daily Receipts, Detailed Cash Reconciliation, Monthly Aging%, DSO calc, etc.)
Requirements:
? 5 years working experience
? University Degree in Accounting Preferred
? Good English
