Job Scope:

- Deliver sustainable new product application and development projects both as the leader of or a member of cross functional teams to provide timely and effective fulfillment of regional /global customer and business needs

- Deliver ongoing technical support to existing and potential customers ensuring appropriate balance between the effort used and the value delivered

- Provide technical expertise to enable the development of specific application technology within Product Line

Responsibilities:

- Lead or participate in cross functional project teams to support business growth through the establishment of new applications for and the enhancement of existing products, ensuring intellectual property is protected

- Lead, motivate, develop and coach TS&D technicians

- Develop and maintain market segment and customer account expertise in own area of specialization

- Contribute to the delivery of the sales budget and generate upsides for Product Line

- In conjunction with Marketing create of technical value propositions and technical product commercialization, with production of technical data sheets, brochures and launch packages

- Promote Company’s technical capabilities, products and new developments to a broad range of customers

- In conjunction with the Sales team specify and deliver appropriate technical support for key customers, through a mixture of detailed technical and commercial knowledge

- Maintain detailed technical knowledge of customer application methodology capability to ensure trouble-free use of Product Line products on customers equipment

- Provide technical expertise and support to Sales and Marketing teams, during the introduction of new products/processes, determine way forward to ensure product performance

- Represent the organization in forums and conferences within specific area of application expertise

- Setting the direction of technical support activities at customer accounts

- Define specific resourcing requirements for project goals and customer support

- Defining the key elements for extension of application competency

- Support company’s EHS policies. Prevent OSHA reportable incidents

- Provide technical assistance to Sales and Marketing in support of new product development and introduction

Requirements:

- BSc or Post Graduate Degree or equivalent in business related science

- Five years or more direct experience in related technologies

- Strong project management skills

- Strong results orientation

- Good analytical and conceptual thinking

- Good problem solving skills

- Strong commercial and communication skills

- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers including: problem solving, technical presentations and project management

- Good value selling skills
