Job Summary
The Customer Service Engineer provides on-site corrective maintenance service during installation, integration, training and maintenance of Kodak's front-end and output products.
Job Responsibilities
(1) Perform necessary servicing maintenance of Kodak's output devices
(2)System installation of Kodak equipment for new customers and extensions for existing customers
(3)Hardware operator training and ongoing support for customers
(4)Develops strong relationships with customers and sales partner
(5)Provide feedback on future product development features and functions
Job Requirements
(1)Bachelor degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Printing Engineering or related subject is highly preferred.
(2) At least 2-4 years of experience in a field service environment
(3)Good understanding of all aspects of complex electro-mechanics and robotic high-tech equipment as well as electro-optics
(4)Some exposure to the graphic arts world and working with product development teams would be an asset
(5)Superior communication and listening skills to resolve customer problem
(6)Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair and solve system/equipment issues
(7)Practical hands-on approach is essential
(8)Proven customer oriented skills in a service environment
(9)Excellent interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, and discretion
(10)Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
(11)Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment and work well under pressure
(12)Planning, organizational and administrative abilities
(13)Good professional English reading and comprehension
(14)Willingness to travel
