Background:
Marine Dragon Consulting (MDC) is a project management and services company. We are specialized in the development and the promotion of the yachting industry in China & Asia.
MDC is the first company in China to assist the global yachting industry from conceptualization to post project support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Yachting Market Consultant (f/m) [YMC] to intensify internal and external communication, and share our passion for sailing, yachting and marine activities.

Job purpose:
? Doing market research within the yacht market in China & Asia by visiting people, yachting sites (marinas, boat shows or shipyards), internet or phone calls

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
? Gathering & organizing market's data in our Database
? Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers
? Presenting data and solutions in written or oral reports
? Liaising with staff at all levels of an organization
? Traveling to customer sites (25%)
? Keeping up-to-date on all yachting media
? Writing articles for international boating media

Languages:
? Native English speaker or English equivalent to native speaker level
? Chinese will be a plus

Contract type:
? Mission Based: Shanghai
? Compensation: regarding Chinese law & regulation
? Duration: 6 months mandate (minimum)
? Availability: immediately
? Visa and accommodation will be organized by the company, if necessary

Skills and Specifications:
? An university degree in marketing, communication, journalism, international trade or related fields
? Working experience in consulting, communication, media work or marketing ideally in an international company
? Excellent phrasing, writing and editing skills
? Excellent Data-management skills
? Neat, well organized and structured
? Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate communications activities
? Excellent networking and interpersonal relations experience
? A results-oriented approach, positive thinking and good teamwork spirit and leading
? Adequate IT skills (Microsoft Office)
? Knowing of the boating business is a real plus!
? Strong ability of adapting to various working situation
