OVERVIEW :
PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Planner provides insights based upon data and secondary market information to guide the
development of strategic plans and consumer communications for Ford APA markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Acts as the voice of the consumer for markets within Ford APA Region
? Analyzes market data and research findings to develop insights into the category, brand, and consumer.
? Provides analysis of source market communication placemats to inform the APA global launch process.
? Develops region/market-specific communication placemats
? Conducts analysis of automotive segments and brands in key APA markets.
? Analyzes competitive communications to identify unique positioning opportunities.
? Coordinates with in-market planners across region
? Supports the design, implementation, and analysis of research.
? Presents research information and analyses to the client.
? Maintains and supports all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System.
? Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

? Analytic, intuitive, interpretive and strategic thinking skills.
? Database management skills.
? Strong writing and presentation skills
? Strong team player.
? Ability to think positively and inspire others as part of a working team.
? Ability to discuss and interpret information with internal and external stakeholders.
? Detail-oriented.
PREFERRED PROFILE:
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
? 2-4 years of related advertising experience.
? Planning, data-mining, marketing and consumer research experience
? Auto industry experience a plus
? International experience a plus
? Asian language ability a plus (written, and Mandarin is an advantage)
? Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities.
