Pacific Epoch, an investment research firm focused on Chinese high-tech industries is seeking an investment analyst to cover China's consumer and retail evolution with direct coverage of multinational consumer companies, as well as broader trends and themes within the intersection of retail and e-business.

Responsibilities:
? Conduct fundamental, forward-looking investment research on MNCs in China consumer space, at both industry and company levels
? Work with the research management team and other team members to refine the research methodologies, including developing new research products
? Develop networking relationships with industry experts and other industry professionals
? Present research findings to professional institutional investors-company clients
? Participate in developing, collecting, managing and analyzing the data sets for assigned coverage

Qualifications:
? Previous research experience in multinational consumer companies or consumer research is a plus
? Familiarity with key issues around Chinese consumption dynamics a plus
? Must have a Bachelor's degree or above from a top university
? Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
? Good MS office skills, especially strong in Excel, Word
? Previous experience of using financial information platforms such as Wind, Bloomberg or THS is a plus
