A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Merchandising Manager to join a successful company in Shanghai, in the Textiles Category


The role will involve (but not restricted to):

1. Responsible for the whole process of the sourcing of Textile/accessories/garment for promotional/seasonal fields to achieve the best quality and prices for the company
2. Co-ordinate and communicate between Sales/QC&QA team/Suppliers
3. Lead the team in quotation, product development, sample fitting, order follow-up to ensure on-time delivery. Make sure the team submits quotes on time. order follow up on schedule.
4. Delegate functions and motivate team members for efficient and effectiveexecution of daily operation
5. Provide necessary support for team members, help them to solve problems occurred in their daily operation
6. Work and supervise merchandisers on costing and negotiating price with factories
7. Source and develop suppliers/sub-contractors, take regular trips to items to propose to Sales team; take part in fairs and exhibitions to be well acquainted with new products
8. Responsible for team building, coach the subordinates in their daily work
9. Treat and make performance evaluation for all subordinates fairly
10. Familiar with T-shirt, Jacket, Towel, Cap, Scraf, Glove, etc with different materials,and so forth..

Job requirement
1. Good English communication skills. Be very organized, responsible and proactive;
2. College degree and above, majored in textile/Garment/Accessories;
3. More than 8 years working experience in textile/garment/Accessories business.
4. Familiar with the whole procedure of the textile/garment/Accessories production
5. Good knowledge of quality, textile/ garment/Accessories construction & technical, experience with SAP B1 is a plus.;

6. Chinese national and native speaker only


The successful candidate will have previous experience in merchandising within the promotion industry. A strong background in textiles, along with fluency in English and Putonghua are essential.


The idealcandidate will be willing to travel as needed and be able to get involved with all aspects of the operations and be able to work in a team and get the jobdone.
