Fonssino (previously known as Portland Global Sourcing) was established in 2007 to support our clients seeking to drive benefits from sourcing global markets, primarily China and other Asian countries, but also including Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Indirect sourcing specialist

This role is to support organization internal procurement for services and indirect materials, e.g. facility management, vehicle leasing, travel and accommodation, events, HR related, 3^rd party contractors, IT and telecommunication, office supply, package, logistics, events, etc.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform activities relating to identification, assessment and qualification of suppliers

- Conduct pre-qualification research into potential suppliers' capabilities

- Conduct costing exercises applicable to sourcing activities

- Contract review process and purchase order process with suppliers

- Spending analysis and perform commodity strategy for annual cost reduction

- Participate in supplier development and relationship management;

Position Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree

- Minimum of 6 years of sourcing experience, have used e-sourcing tools/system;

- Excellent communication, negotiations, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to manage

and develop supplier relationships and support internal customers

- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization

- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments

- Chinese and English proficiency, good at MS office

We are not a trading business. Where requested we ‘pull’ product into the market based on specific client orders & requests, not ‘push’ product into the market to sell at lowest cost. We provide bespoke, flexible solutions for our clients which can incorporate elements of both project-based (consulting) services and managed services, depending on the desired outcomes.
