The Mission

The FEI Finance team is charged with delivery of financial systems that result in timely, accurate and relevant information that facilitates management decision-making, providing financial management that partners with operating management to maximize financial performance, improves and maintains strong internal controls, provides the necessary monetary infusions to allow for planned growth, including acquisitions, and provides a high degree of sales support to facilitate continued penetration into new customers, new markets and new geographies.


The Position

Responsibilities and deliverables include:
Manager, prepares, administers, and directs the control of the budget
Manages the activity of the finance and accounting staff
Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to management team
Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function
Financial controls based on Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Monthly US GAAP based corporate reporting
Communication with auditors and consultants
Work closely together with controllers in order to realize the required management information in the area of Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements
Financial analysis
Ownership of accounting modules within ERP system
Participate in various working groups
Ability to manage staff, assign specific duties, and create a constructive and cooperative working relationship.

The Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Typically requires a University degree in Finance/Accounting, Advanced degree and/or accredited financial certification is highly preferred
Typically requires 10 years of working experience in accounting with ERP systems preferably in a high tech environment, 2+ years of experience in a leadership role is preferred
Strong leadership skills
Good Knowledge on US GAAP and IFRS
Good knowledge on IT and audit, experience in working with ERP systems
